Defining the Boundaries
Kierland is bounded by Frank Lloyd Wright to the north, Tatum Boulevard to the west, Shea Boulevard to the south and Scottsdale Road to the east. This area contains a mixture of luxury apartments, single family homes, and townhomes. The most prominent locations in the Kierland area are Scottsdale Quarter, Kierland Commons, and Scottsdale Promenade: three outdoor lifestyle destinations with over 100 upscale shops, high-end restaurants, residential units, and entertainment.
Kierland is a highly desired area that was developed in the nineties embracing the “main street” style with many urban amenities. Housing options surrounding Kierland include single family homes, luxury townhouses, and contemporary lofts. Lofts offered by Plaza Lofts at Kierland are high end, modern units with private balconies and are located above the Kierland Shopping Center.
The units range in size from 1,100 to 3,500 square feet and include an on-site concierge, two private reception lobbies, a state of the art fitness studio and a heated lap pool. The most recent condo construction, the Optima Kierland Condo is to be finished in 2018 and consists of four high-rise buildings, 12-stories each. Landmark Condominiums has a great selection of luxurious condos which start from 921 square feet covering about 4,000 square feet.
Kierland Greens and Kierland Heritage are townhomes which are adjacent to Kierland Golf Club. They range in size from 1,100 to 2,400 square feet and were built by Centex Homes and Cachet Homes between 1997 and 2000.
